The Pain

When the darkness seems especially disgusting, and you can't bear the abyss any longer, close your eyes, and listn to the song of the caged bird. He sings of freedom and joviality. He sings of revenge and pain. 

I seek to capture the calm of nature, and contrast it starkly with the world we live in today. Hearts are broken, and friends abandoned, but that is not the world that this bird lives in. He concerns himself with nothing of the sort. I sometimes find myself wishing i could fly away from life, and perch on a tree somewhere, possibly inspring another, the way he inspired me.
